Pride: Good or Bad

            Pride is a deep topic, however I always wonder, is pride good or bad? There is good pride and bad pride, my friends and enemies often have pride in them. My friends have the good type of pride, but my many enemies are full of narcissism. What is good pride? What is bad pride? Hmmmmmmmm... Let's see...

            Good Pride: Pride is part of everyone's personality, but it's good pride that is important to have. I think that good pride is characterized by proudness but not in a conceited way. Everyone will be proud of themselves at some time in their life.

           Bad Pride: A lot of the people I'm not fond of all have part of their disposition filled with conceit. A lot of them are in my school and annoy me at any second possible. There is this girl (I'm not naming names) but she is such a show-off and she displays a head full of braids every single day. She thinks she's Katniss and wears a brown shirt and some sport jacket everyday. She thinks she is the brightest mind in the world. I just can't stand those type of people. They're always prancing around thinking they're all that.  Stupid, isn't it? I hate those peeps, hate them! All stuck up and everything.

            I like to compare these people to peacocks. Always showing off their feathers. Trying to prove that they're better then everyone else. What annoys me even more is that they actually have friends. Some like hanging out with popular kids and this makes them feel cool but more like constipated, overrated, out-a-style, loser! These kind of people are also usually bossy too. I remember that in my dream a magical person (don't know what it was) gave me permission to murder a horrible person in the world that we can live without, so I grabbed a kitchen knife, the big kind and ran after the person I was to pursue. I found her sitting by a wall reading a book called How to be Popular. As I came after her with the kitchen knife, she tried to climb up the wall (stupid). But, she failed after getting 2 inches up. I came at her and killed her. I felt so triumphed! I even woke up with a great feeling in me.

            Oh, and I had this other dream where my mortal enemy and I were at the supermarket. As usual she had her hair in her flouncy french braids. As her mom was in the pasta aisle, I cornered her into the dairy section and pulled her ponytail-holder out. Her braids immediately came out. She ran crying to her mommy, how hilarious.

My Chimpanzee

            NEVER, NEVER IN YOUR LIFE SHOULD YOU BABYSIT A CHIMPANZEE. I tell ya, it's pure work. Worse than a baby. Here is a list of tips and some advice you will need if you ever babysit one.

1. Never give the chimpanzee more than 3 bananas; the last time I did... It threw up!
2. Cover ALL the furniture. When chimpanzees finish their food they tend to run around so they can POOP!
3. Keep the vet's number close, you never know when there's an emergency!
4. Bananas are always great bribing treats, but don't use them too often. Then, they lose their value.
5. Never take a chimpanzee into public, they go CRAZY!

            You see, I know this because I have babysat a chimpanzee and like I said they are HORRIBLE! Such uncooperative creatures. I was just minding my own business when my friend Talisha knocked. "Hey," she said. "Can you, by any chance baby---, no chimpanzee-sit my little babe please." I could only nod. "How much will you pay?" "Well by the trouble little Ethan gets into, it;ll be about $12 an hour." "OK, do you happen to have a list of instructions?" "Yep," Talisha said holding out a sheet of paper. "You'll need Chimpoo Shampoo, Grow n' Gorilla food, Chimpy Banana Treats, and Monkey Exercise Ball. 

My Fav Movie

            There are a lot of movie that I have seen but I think my all-time favorite is In the Mist of the Green Papayas. However, I'm not necessarily sure about the title. In the Mist of the Green Papayas is such a sad and touching movie that I remember the story but I forget the title. In the story Mui is a little girl sold at a very young girl to a rich family as a servant. The family has 3 boys plus a girl that died at age 8, and when Mui is around 12, she falls in love with the oldest son who was 16.

             Soon the master ages and dies, Her mistress ages too and gives Mui what Theo (the mistress' daughter) would have inherited. Mui soon becomes a servant for her mistress's eldest son, which is her crush. However, to Mui's sadness, her crush already has a girlfriend. But one day, her crush finds her more interesting than his girlfriend. When his girlfriend found out that she was messing around with him, she stomps off. Mui is wed to her beloved and as usual... They live happily ever after!
